The National Hispanic Institute (NHI) provides its youth with a continuum of leadership opportunities that begin at the ninth grade and continue through undergraduate college studies. This eight-year process begins with the Great Debate/GDx, continues with the Lorenzo de Zavala Youth Legislative Session/LDZx, the Collegiate World Series/CWSx, and, finally, the Collegiate Leadership Network/CLNx. These programs are built on research and pilot projects which are field tested before becoming part of the organization’s pedagogy.
Historically, NHI has hosted in-person programs on college campuses, however, given the current environment, we have moved most of our programs into a digital/virtual program experience until the environment is safe to host in-person programs. Please review our leadership programs below.
