APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

Enrolling in the National Hispanic Institute programs requires that each individual applicant establish a record in our online registration system. This can be achieved in two ways: 1. The student registers himself/herself online; 2. A paper application is printed, completed by the student/parents, and mailed to NHI, and our staff enters the information into the online registration system. For fastest results, students should apply online from home.

 

The documents and information needed to complete an online application include:

  1. Student’s email address
  2. Student’s program choice (aka Great Debate, LDZ, etc.)
  3. General information about the student, including date of birth, address, email, phone number, etc.
  4. Parent/custodian names, emails, and emergency contact information
  5. A recent report card or transcript from the previous semester of school (scanned and uploaded
  6. A medical release signed by the parent and/or guardian
  7. A financial release signed by the parent and/or guardian
  8. A means to make a $20 application fee payment with a credit card or debit card (call NHI if you need more information)
  9. Additional forms can be found here signed by the parent and/or guardian
