NHI East coast (us)

At NHI East Coast, we engage high-ability youth in creative, community-centered leadership development. Students learn to think imaginatively, communicate with confidence, and build relationships with peers from across the East Coast (US), Puerto Rico, and the broader NHI community.

We introduce 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students to a journey of discovery, dialogue, and collaboration. Participants explore ideas, discuss real-world challenges, and work together to envision a stronger future for their communities. We take pride in cultivating emerging leaders who carry forward NHI’s legacy of imagination, collaboration, and community-building.

NHI East Coast is an active regional chapter of the National Hispanic Institute, serving schools and partner organizations across multiple states and Puerto Rico. Below is a list of schools where we currently serve students and maintain partnerships. If you would like to nominate a student, become a partner institution, or donate to our scholarship fund, please use the links on this page.

If you are interested in attending or nominating a student to join the National Hispanic Institute's summer leadership series programs, please fill out this form.
