NHI north texas

At NHI, we practice living in a creative decision-making process that celebrates our community. Students can expect to cultivate relationships with students from all areas of the United States and Latin America, engage in life-changing experiences, and get to explore their regional identity.

The NHI North Texas Alliance engages 9th, 10th, and 11th-grade students in a journey of discovery, dialogue, and leadership. Participants learn to express ideas, analyze community challenges, and collaborate with peers to create a vision for a better future. NHI North Texas prides themselves in treating all NHI’ers like family and generating a pipeline of leadership who embody NHI’s legacy.

Currently, NHI North Texas serves as a chapter for the National Hispanic Institute and is most known for their participation as a team our annual Texas 4-Day Great Debate summer program experiences.

About Austin College

Austin College

Austin College is a private, residential, co-educational college dedicated to educating undergraduate students in the liberal arts and sciences. Also offered are select pre-professional programs and a graduate teacher education program. Founded in 1849 by Princeton-educated Presbyterian missionary Dr. Daniel Baker, Austin College enjoys a place in early Texas history and remains a recognized leader in higher education for innovative programs, a strong faculty, and dedicated students. Austin College was granted a charter signed by Texas Governor George Wood in November of 1849. Modeled after those of Harvard, Yale, and Princeton, that charter remains in use today, making Austin College the oldest institution of higher education in Texas operating under its original name and charter, as recognized by the State Historical Survey Committee. About Trinity University

Trinity University

Trinity University is located in San Antonio Texas. Home to more than 2,500 students, Trinity is rooted in the liberal arts and sciences with pre-professional programs. The University is guided by a mission and set of values that place the student experience at its core. As a community that both honors our past and shapes our future, we strive to live our values in everything we do. Trinity’s history of excellence began in 1869, when Cumberland Presbyterians sought to create a "University of the Highest Order." Founders built upon a bedrock of resilience, innovation, and a passion for student wellbeing. More than 150 years later, Trinity continues to instill the confidence and curiosity needed to answer questions and question answers.
